It would be really great to keep supporting The Belvedere Jazz Club as if it is not supported rumour is that it may close, so please do come down and join us, I believe it is £4 each on the door, I shall confirm this soon however.

R.B.L Gig 18th April

Last month Decajazz enjoyed another successful performance at the Royal British Legion Hornchurch Branch, and raised some more money for Charity.

 

It is estimated that Decajazz has raised over £25,000 for charity since Chris Ruck brought the musicians together in 2006.

 

Our next public performance will be opening the Belvedere Jazz Club Billericay in early September, more information soon to follow.

 

We also are performing at several private function across the summer, if you would like us to perform please contact Chris Ruck.

Decajazz = Live Again! Hornchurch British Legion 18th April.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys, Girls and Jazz Lovers of all ages, we have news of more live performances!

 

Decajazz will be putting on an evening of jazz and entertainment at the Hornchurch Branch of the Royal British Legion on the 18th April. Many fans will remember that we have played here twice before, and have quite a following. More specific details are to follow.

 

Doors probably Open at 7 o’clock, and we hope to see you there!

Decajazz at the Belvedere 2th September 2008

Decajazz enjoyed another successful live performance at the Belvedere Jazz Club in Billericay and would like to thank all their fans for supporting them again.

 

Decajazz enjoyed an expanded line up of an extra trumpeter Michael “Trumpet Trousers” Dockerty and Angelo “The Vamping Greek Vampire from Tescos” Tsocos on trombone. This was also Decajazz’s first non-private function gig with the new saxophone section line up of Sam Weston on Baritone and Bethany Whalley on Alto 2.

 

We also enjoyed the singing sensation of Tamsin Graham singing some vocal hits, the barbershop group did some classic crowd favourites and drummer Jake Staines sang a beautiful rendition of the well known standard “Fly Me To The Moon”, accompanied by A.Linham (piano) and C.Ruck (drums).

 

A pleasurable evening was had by all.

 

Other upcoming Decajazz gigs include a private function on 20th September.

 

There is also talk of a charity fundraiser at christmas and we will keep you all posted.
